These protein shakes feel like cheat meals or dessert. Quite the indulgence after a workout!This is a wonderful product that I have enjoyed using for more than 25 years, usually having it as my breakfast daily. A nutritionist recommended this for me because of all the essential vitamins that are included. The only negative for me is that I wish that it was available without Soy, as I have Thyroid issues and that is now a non-reccomended item for me.Love the flavor of these. I literally don't like slimfast because it is WAYYYY too sweet, tha't cant possibly be healthy or good for you. With these I feel much much better because the carb to protein ratio is much better. Sometimes I get lazy and don't feel like preparing a meal, or sometimes I will use these if I feel like having a "treat" or dessert. This along with sensible diet (I am going much more heavy on the vegetables and legumes nowadays, less meat and totally less empty carbs) and I'm losing weight and managing my sugars well (I'm type 2 diabetic). Hope to wean myself off of my medicines soon. I also love banana, strawberry, chocolate, & vanilla flavors. I add fruit to any of these too. Like try adding a peeled navel orange in with the vanilla flavor... YUM!!!!Missing the chocolate component altogether, which leaves it to be a card-boardy flavored peanutty meal replacement.For fullness, spot on.For low-sugar, aced it.I will not purchase this again.I love the taste of this Spiru-Tein shake. It was the first flavor I ever purchase and I will continue to purchase it. The instructions say that it mix instantly that is false. You need to blend it in order for all of the the powder to dissolve. I love adding a dash of cinnamon to enhance the flavor. I'm not a big fan of chocolate so I'm glad this doesn't have a strong chocolate flavor nor is the peanut butter overpowering. I use this to replace either breakfast or lunch and it keeps me full till next meal time. Please keep in mind that the product contains spirulina so it might have a hint of green after blending it with milk. Also do not try to blend with just water. It will taste awful.The Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl flavor is delicious. The Spirutein Shakes provide nice protein and vitamins to help me feel great. My only issue was that I bought a two pack and was only sent one can. However, Amazon refunded the cost of one can, so it all worked out.It seems like this Spiru-tein powder has a different flavor from the others I have bought. It isn’t just the chocolate that is different but the recipe is changed?
