Starting with our Black Soap, Dr. Woods’ vision was to produce high quality skin care products sourced worldwide but made right here in the United States. What is Black Soap? Raw black soap is a unique all-vegetable soap product whose key ingredient is derived from plantain skins, a highly renewable natural resource. What is Shea Butter? Harvested from the nut of the Karite tree, shea butter is indigenous to West Africa (our organic fair-trade shea butter comes specifically from the African Savannah). I am not too keen on getting Dr Bronners. This isn’t about Christianity… but I want to clarify why I went on a search for a really good Castile Soap. I am a Christian Believer but there is some real wonky stuff written on the label that isn’t what most of us Believe or even see in the Bible. So… not wanting to buy it and bring that into my house where people would be reading it, I wanted to search for Castile soap that was thick, authentic and safe. Dr Woods is that. It is thick, smells neutral like it should. It isn’t watered down like some of the others. I really love it and have used it off and on for years. I am making my own foaming hand wash again so I came back. I need to continue and not stop. Don’t know why I ever did.I make my own foaming soap and this works well for the soap ingredient. Unscented allows me to use whichever essential oils I wish. This is a bit more runny than some other brands but foams well. After using this Liquid Soap...Made my Skin feel very Dry...Wasn't what I expected...?I love this soap. I use it to wash my hair and my body all at once. Scrubbing it into your hair makes it lather up really well, and then I use my hands to wash the lather all over my body. It leaves my hair very soft and manageable and I don't even bother with conditioner. I should point out that I'm a man and I have relatively short hair, so I can't speak to how well it would work as a shampoo for someone with long hair.Another good thing about it is that it's very clean rinsing. So my entire shower from head to toe only takes like 5 minutes.I have sensitive skin so I really like the unscented version, although they do make other scents. I hated the smell of the scented baby mild. When you first smell the unscented version you might thing it's a little weird, but you just smell "clean" when you get out. And what's great about it is that you will end up smelling like your after shave or cologne since the soap won't overpower it.I have bought this soap over and over again. I love it.I love this soap. I love it.Great Castile soap although it doesn't lather very well. It's seems pretty hydrating. Does leave a layer on skin . My only problem is I can't tell how well it carries it's cleaning properties over the body due to it possibly absorbing into the skin. Because of that I find myself using a bit more than expected.Dr. Woods castile soap is a great unscented mild soap. It's pourable, rinses clean, and contains no harmful ingredients. It does smell like castile soap does (fresh plain soap), but it does not have any fragrances and leaves no scent once rinsed. Just a word of caution as this soap is not a tear free one so be sure to keep it out of your little's eyes. I love adding essential oils to it for my own custom scent. I also use this for cleaning. I use it to clean counters, floors, toilets, and even dusting. It really is an all around use soap. I use it in my foaming hand soap pumps too. It makes an awesome foaming soap!It foams up nicely for a short time so you have to work quickly if using it as a shampoo and then the foam dissapears. Need only a quarter sized amount and will be trying this out in homemade cleaning products. Only thing that concerns me is if it is truly all natural despite the certification never heard of it and wouldn't be the first time something is called "natural" P.S. Don't get it into your eyes as it does burn a bit and you can't even see it get in your eyes so just try to keep it away. But i would recommend itAbsolutely fantastic. Moisturizing leaving my skin really softLove this product. I make a lot of my own foaming soap and this is a great base product.bought as a giftLove it!!においがダメです。テクスチャーが固く、特に肌にいいとも感じませんでした。外国の方のレビューにもあるようにラードのような不快なにおいがあり、まったくおすすめできません。
