Have been through 3 CAM walker boots in 6 months for a pulled achilles tendon and heel spur. Tired of replacing the CAM walker and purchased the DARCO body armor walker II 5 weeks ago. Wish I would have ordered it a long time ago. Is very easy to put on and take off and provides great support and stability for my ankle. I am very pleased with this product. It is also low profile so it matches the height of most shoes. Didn't give 5 stars because one of the bolts came out of one of the fasteners.Product works well well worth the money it has a lot of padding in it so it doesn’t rub on youThis item was recommended by my doctor. I have received major pain relief from wearing it most of my waking hours (and it beats having a cast that can't be removed). The only issue I have had is that the bottom buckle comes undone sometimes and I have to refasten.I bought this to replace a Bledsoe fracture walker that the doctor gave me -it was so noise, squeaky ever time I walked. The boot does take some time to put on, but it is very comfortable.Just an fyi - the calf measures up to 19 in max- recommend up to 18 in.I've struggled with a foot problem for over two years before a great doctor in Boston figured out the problem, but I had to work and this boot was the best one for me while on my feet all day.Great boot, I am active duty military and have put this boot thru the rigors of daily military life and more. I am 6'5" 270 and this boot held up. This boot is a little heavier but if you need the support and protection look no further.Plop plop fiz fiz oh what a relief it is. The make up of the boot is good quality. It will last a long time.
